SEWA FOUNDATION is a non-governmental organization committed to uplifting, upskilling and economically empowering widows, orphans, internally displaced persons and the less privileged in Nigeria. We not just mitigate their sufferings, we empower and take them beyond their pain points to where they become economically viable to themselves and the Nigerian society at large.
SEWA Foundation was birthed after the founder’s fourteen years of philanthropic ventures helping women, youths and widows through numerous poverty alleviation programs. Sewa Foundation was then formally established and registered as a corporation to carry on this legacy in 2019.
A purpose to not just identify societal ills but to also create meaningful interventions through education and resource support. What was yesterday’s dream is now today’s reality touching the lives of hundreds of vulnerable women, orphans, internally displaced people, the needy, volunteers, staff and our various supporters.
We have a number of initiatives with a focus on primary healthcare, skill acquisition, job placement and micro-business support.
